Mayor Jerry

Tonight on The O'Reilly Factor Mayor Jerry Brown of Oakland appeared and discussed the California Attorney General's pronouncement regarding teenagers' abortion rights. Apparently, teenage girls in California who are too young to vote, buy alcohol, buy cigarettes, get tatoos or visit tanning booths can get abortions without their parents' consent or knowledge. This is wrong is so many ways I won't dignify it by writing another word about it.

What ticks me off is how, for years, Jerry Brown has appeared on every talk show that would have him to discuss everything but Oakland politics. He has two years left on his second term as mayor and the taxpayers of Oakland deserve to have him doing the job for which he is being paid. We have serious problems in Oakland just like most large American cities and we need someone who is serious about solving them. Jerry, get back to work!
