As a University of Kansas graduate currently living spittin' distance from the University of California at Berkeley, there's no way I could pass up posting on the thrashing KU gave Cal in basketball today.The young and struggling Jayhawks trailed by three at the half but poured it on in the second period to beat the Cal Golden Bears 69-56.
Cal was probably fortunate that this game was played at Kemper Arena in Kansas City where the crowds and the noise are a little less intimidating to visitors than at Allen Fieldhouse in Lawrence.
